VOIS

"There is no crueler tyranny than that which is

perpetuated under the shield of law and in the

name of justice.”

VOIS Mission Statement

Our Mission at VOIS is to give a voice to victims of public corruption through experience, education, and support resources.

VOIS is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

All donations are tax deductible.

VOIS was born from the tragic 1981 murder of Joan L. Webster in Boston, Massachusetts. The case remains unsolved after more than 40 years. Authorities investigating the case put forward a theory that made sensational headlines for decades. A forensic analysis of source documents about the case revealed evidence of malfeasance by authorities involved during the investigation. Prosecutorial misconduct and dysfunctional law enforcement obstructed justice and left families and loved ones vulnerable.

The malpractice of a few undermines the dedicated public servants committed to safety in our communities and truthful justice. Public corruption manifests itself in many forms. The ever-changing climate of society today exposes corruption on an increasing scale. Prosecutors minimize charges and put offenders back on the street. Others distort the law and fabricate offenses. Projection diverts attention from serious issues and creates more victims. When public servants betray their trust and authority, they need to be held accountable.

VOIS hopes to bring public awareness and support resources for those impacted by public corruption. Join us and BE A VOIS.
